Mail

Smart cards

Sign-in codes with a copy button, parcels with their status, and your flights, stays, bookings, orders and bills at a glance.

Some mail exists for one thing: a code to sign in, a parcel on its way, a flight. Nemi Mail recognises that thing and shows it as a card, in the conversation list in place of the preview line and at the top of the conversation, so you can act without reading the whole message.

CardWhat it shows
Sign-in codeThe code with a Copy button, right in the list, and how long it is valid when the mail says so.
Sign-in linkA Sign in button, only when the link goes to the sender's own website.
ParcelThe carrier, the status from ordered to delivered, the expected delivery, the tracking number and a Track parcel button.
Flight and other tripsWhere from and where to, departure and arrival, and the booking reference.
Hotel and stayCheck in, check out, the address and the booking reference.
Restaurant and ticketWhen, where, how many people, and the reference.
OrderThe shop, the order number and the total.
BillThe amount, the due date, the payment reference and a Pay button on the sender's own website.
  • Cards are only made for mail that proves it comes from the sender it names. A message that only claims to come from your bank or a carrier stays a plain message, because a card is more convincing than the mail under it.
  • Times of a place, such as a departure or a check in, are shown as the mail gives them, in the local time of that place.
  • Cards are recognised on Nemi's own servers by fixed rules, the moment the mail arrives. No AI reads your mail for this, and nothing is sent anywhere.
  • Cards are made for mail to your Nemi Mail addresses from the moment the feature is on. Older mail and mail in linked accounts keep their usual preview.
  • Not every message gets a card. When Nemi is not sure, it leaves the mail as it is.

Tidy up sign-in codes#

In Settings, General, turn on Tidy up sign-in codes to have a conversation that is only a sign-in code archived once the code has expired: when the mail says how long it is valid, after that, and otherwise after 15 minutes. It is moved to Archive, never deleted.
