Folio
What a folio is
A public page with your name, your work and your links. One per account, off until you publish it.
A folio is your public page: who you are, the work you want people to see, and where else to find you. It is one page per account, it lives at an address built from your username, and nobody can open it until you publish it.
It is yours rather than your workspace's. Colleagues in a shared workspace cannot see or edit your folio, and switching workspace changes nothing on it. That is the same rule Beam and Contacts follow: some things in Nemi belong to a person, not a team.
What a folio holds#
- A header: your name, a headline, a picture, and an availability badge if you want one.
- About: a few paragraphs in your own words.
- Work: projects, each with pictures or video, a client, a role, a year, tags and a link. Every project also gets its own page.
- Selected media: a strip of pictures or clips with no titles, for when the work speaks first.
- Links: Instagram, Behance, a shop, a CV, anything with an address.
- Contact: an email button, if you add an address.
Sections can be renamed, turned off and put in your own order, and the whole look is yours to change. See designing your folio.
Is a folio the same as a Nemi card?
No. A card is the small collectible page that comes with your username. A folio is a full page you build and publish.
Can I have more than one?
One per account. If you need a second page for another practice, that is a second account with its own username.
Does anything cost extra?
No. The pictures and videos you upload count towards your storage, the same as any other file.
