Nemi AI in your mail
Summaries, catching up, suggested replies, drafts in your style, the requests in a conversation, and asking your inbox a question.
| Feature | Where | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Summarise | Top of a conversation | A few lines on what the conversation is about and where it stands. |
| What do they need from me | Top of a conversation | The requests and deadlines in it, each one with a button to put it in your Calendar. |
| Suggested replies | Below the last message | Three short answers to start from. |
| Write it for me | In a message you are writing | A full draft in your own style, from a line about what it should say. |
| Catch me up | The Nemi AI panel | What changed since you last looked, most important first. |
| Ask your inbox | The Nemi AI panel | A question about your mail, answered from your messages, with the messages it used. |
- It reads mail only when you press one of these, and only your own. It reads the text of the messages, never their attachments.
- It never sends anything. A reply it writes is a draft, and only you send it.
- It can be wrong. Check a summary against the message before you act on it.
- Results are kept for a short time so the same question is not paid for twice: a summary for up to 7 days, Catch me up for 30 minutes.
- The Nemi AI assistant, the button in the bottom right corner of every app, can work with your mail too when you ask it: find messages, summarise a conversation, list what people are waiting on you for, and put a reply or a new message in Drafts. It never sends, never looks in Spam or Trash, and what it reads stays in that assistant conversation until you delete it.
- It does not read mail from a Gmail account linked through Sign in with Google.
Settings, Nemi AI in Mail can hide Nemi AI in conversations if you would rather not see it. Section 3.24 of the privacy policy sets out exactly what is sent and where.
