A workspace shares files. A Business links whole accounts: everybody keeps their own login, their own workspaces and their own work, and the company gets one bill, one pool of storage, one verified badge and a record of what happened. Open it from your avatar menu, then Business.

A seat is a linked account. While somebody is linked, their plan is the better of their own plan and Business, so a colleague on Free gets Business limits for as long as they are in the team, and somebody who already pays for Max keeps everything Max gives them. Their paid personal storage stacks on top of the company pool rather than being wasted.
The Business page#

Who did what, newest first.
Inviting works like a workspace invitation: an email address or an @username, with the role Member or Admin. An admin can manage the company, the members and the policies; only the owner can change the number of seats. Adding a seat is a number in the Seats box, and it changes what you are billed.
Sharing policies#
Policies are rules applied to every new share link anybody in the Business creates. They do not change links that already exist, so switching one on today does not retroactively lock a link you sent last month.
- Require a password on new share links.
- Block public links, so members can only share to named email addresses or @usernames.
- Watermark image previews and downloads on every new share.
- Cap how long a link may live, in days.
Team activity and the audit log#
Team activity summarises the recent period: share links created, links still active, opens and downloads, per member and per share. The audit log is the record underneath it, newest first, and it covers the things that change who can reach what: somebody invited, joined, was removed or left, an invitation revoked, the company renamed, the logo changed, seats changed, policies updated, domain auto-join switched, and share links created. Letting your colleagues join themselves#
Domain auto-join lets anybody with an email address on your company domain join the Business without an invitation, while seats last. The domain has to match the owner's own account address. It saves chasing people one by one, and it is worth turning off again once everyone is in.
I upgraded to Business but the page says I am not linked to one.
Reload the page once: the company is created the first time a Business subscriber opens it. If it still does not appear, write to support@nemilab.com with the address you pay with.
What happens to somebody who leaves the team?
They keep their account, their workspaces and everything they made. What they lose is the Business plan, so their own plan applies again, and their storage is measured against it.
Do policies apply to links a member made before joining?
No. Policies are checked when a link is created. Existing links keep the settings they were given, and can still be changed one by one in the link manager.
Is a Business the same as a workspace with lots of members?
No. A workspace shares one set of files with the people in it. A Business links accounts, pools the storage and the billing, and adds the company controls. Most teams use both.
