Create an account and sign in

Three ways in: Google, a code sent to your email address, or a passkey on your device.

On this page

Nemi has no password to invent or forget. You sign in with Google, with a six digit code sent to your email address, or with a passkey once you have added one.

1

Open the sign-in page

From nemilab.com, or from any link you were sent.

2

Choose how to sign in

Google, an email code, or a passkey.

3

You are in

The same session works across every Nemi app.

Signing in with an email code#

  1. 1

    Type your email address

Any address. It does not have to be a Google one.

  2. 2

    Check your inbox

A six digit code arrives within a few seconds. It is valid briefly and can only be used once.

  3. 3

    Type the code

Codes are per address, so if you have two addresses, use the one you typed.

Signing in with Google#

Press Continue with Google and pick the account. Nemi reads your name, email address and profile picture, and nothing else: it does not get access to your Google Drive, Gmail or contacts. Connecting a Google Calendar later is a separate permission you grant separately, and you can see and remove it under Settings, Security.

Passkeys#

A passkey signs you in with Touch ID, Face ID, a Windows Hello prompt or a hardware key, and it cannot be phished the way a code can. Add one under Settings, Security, Passkeys once you are signed in. A passkey stored in iCloud Keychain or a password manager syncs to your other devices; one created on a single laptop stays there, so add a second passkey or keep email sign-in as a way back.

More than one email address#

You can add extra addresses to one account under Settings, Security, Connected emails, and then sign in with any of the verified ones. This is what to do when a client invites your personal address to a room and your work address is the one with the plan on it: add it rather than making a second account.

If you land on the waitlist#

Nemi is opening in stages. If your account is created but not approved yet, signing in takes you to the waitlist page instead of the app. Links you have been sent still work: a share link, a room, a meeting and an upload link are all open to people without an approved account, which is the point of them.

Signing out and devices#

Settings, Security lists the devices your account is currently signed in on, with the browser and the last time each was used, and lets you sign any of them out. Do that from the device you still have if one goes missing.
