What Nemi is
Ten apps on one account, one plan and one storage allowance, made and hosted in the Netherlands.
Nemi started as a way to send large files without a subscription to something that also wanted to be your drive. It is now ten apps that share one account: the file part is still the floor everything else stands on, and everything the other apps make lands there.
The practical consequence is that there is one bill, one storage number and one set of sharing rules. A spreadsheet, a photo and a video file are all things in your workspace, and the link you send for any of them behaves the same way.
What each app is for#

What they share#
- One account. Signing in once signs you into all of them.
- One storage allowance. Documents, photos and files all count towards the same number, so there is nothing to move between products.
- One workspace. Everything you make lives in a workspace, and everybody in that workspace sees it. See Workspaces.
- One kind of link. A share link works the same whether it points at a video file or a document, including the password, the expiry and the branding on the page it opens.
Where it runs#
Nemi is built and hosted in the Netherlands, and files are stored in the EU. What is kept about you, for how long, and who can reach it is set out in full in the privacy policy, which describes the product in specifics rather than in general terms.
Two things are worth knowing up front, because they change what is possible rather than what is promised. Video and audio in a Meet call never pass through a server of ours, so we could not produce a recording of a call even if we were asked for one. And a vault folder is encrypted on your device with a key we have never held, so its contents are unreadable to us, including in response to a legal request.
What it costs#
