It works in the folder you are in, on the files you ticked and in the document you have open, so “these” means what you are looking at.

- Find, list, rename, move and delete files and folders in batches, make and colour folders, write a text file, zip a selection and unpack an archive.
- Convert
- Convert files in your workspace, or convert something you attached and hand it straight back as a download.
- Images
- Edit a picture itself: an exact size in pixels, a crop or a ratio, a round avatar, rotate and mirror, borders, black and white, brightness, contrast and blur, a caption or a watermark, and a target such as under 200 KB. Up to 20 at once, and the original is never touched.
- Sharing
- Make, change and revoke share links with a password, an expiry and a download limit, and make upload links for people to send you files.

- Create, read and rewrite documents, add images, publish and unpublish, and edit the document you have open while you watch.

- Offer files for pickup on another device, with a code to scan, and check what has arrived for you.

- Update your public page: profile, sections, links, theme and projects.
- Settings
- Change your profile, appearance, accessibility and notification settings, rename a workspace you own or change its colour, and tell you where anything else is changed.
- Help
- Search the help centre and answer how something works, with the article it came from.
- Undo
- Put a whole turn back with one press: renames, moves, new files and trashed files.

It already knows where you are
It sees the folder you are in, the files you have selected and the document you have open, so "convert these" means the ones you ticked. You do not have to explain your screen to it.
It acts as you, never as more
Every action is checked against your own role in the workspace it touches, exactly as if you had clicked it yourself. If you can only view something, it can only view it too, and it tells you why.
One press puts it back
When it changes things, a line under its answer says how many and offers to restore everything from before. Renames, moves, new files and trashed files all go back in one go.
It asks before guessing
Before anything that deletes, shares or overwrites, a short question beats a confident mistake. What you have already told it, it does not ask again.
Words in your files are not orders
Text inside a document, a filename, a form answer or a photo is something it reads, never an instruction it follows. The only person who can tell it what to do is you.
It stays on your work
It is here for your files, documents, sheets, forms, photos and calendar. It will not write code, give legal or medical advice, or pretend to be a general chatbot.
Your data,
in plain words.
An assistant has to see some of your work to help with it. Here is exactly which part, where it goes and what is kept, so nothing about it is a surprise.
What it is sent
- What you typed, and the rest of that conversation.
- The results of what it did for you, which contain your data: file and folder names, the text of a document you asked about, the cells of a sheet, a form's answers.
- The names of what you have open and selected when you send a message, so it knows what "this" is.
- A smaller, re-encoded copy of any picture you attach or ask it to look at. Never the original.
What it never is
- Your password, your payment details or your session.
- Anything in a Vault. It is encrypted on your device with a key we have never held, so there is nothing there to read.
- Anything from a Google, Outlook or ICS calendar you connected. That is out of reach by design, and a check in our build fails if that ever changes.
- Anything at all until you open it and send a message. It does not read your storage on its own.
Where it runs.
The language model runs on Microsoft Azure, inside the EU. The request gets there through OpenRouter, a company in the United States that routes it and is not allowed to send it anywhere else. We would rather tell you about that step than let you find it in a table.
Nobody trains on it.
Not us, and not them. Every request carries an instruction that it may not be used to train a model and may only be served by a host that does not keep what it is sent.
It only happens when you ask.
Nemi does not send anything to an AI company on its own. Leave the assistant closed and nothing goes anywhere.
What is kept, and for how long.
- Conversations
- Kept until you delete them, and deleted with your account.
- The undo record
- What it takes to put a turn back, stored on your own account and deleted after 30 days.
- Attached files
- Held for 24 hours outside every workspace, then deleted, unless you ask for one to be saved.

an assistant? Bring it.
On every plan, the free one included, you can connect the assistant you already use, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, and let it work in your workspace: find a file, draft a document, fill a sheet. It signs in through a Nemi page where you press Allow, with no keys to copy and nothing to install.
It gets exactly what you have and your plan's own limits, every edit it makes is marked as the AI in the document's history, and you can cut it off in Settings at any moment. What it does with your content is between you and the company that makes it, which is why we never connect one for you.
