Everybody sees every stroke as it happens. It runs on the same engine as Docs and Sheets, so a board is one file in your workspace with everybody's cursor on it.

Open a board in a meeting and everybody in the call is on the same one, because it is an ordinary Canvas document rather than a drawing surface that dies with the call.

You can see where everyone is looking
Every person on a board carries a pointer with their name on it, and whatever they have selected gets an outline in the same colour. You know what is about to move before it moves.
Arrows go round what is in the way
Select a line or an arrow and a third handle appears at its middle. Drag it and the connector curves round whatever was in the way. Hold alt and click the handle to snap it straight again.
It lines things up for you
Drag a shape near the edge or the centre of another one and it snaps, with a guide drawn along the edge it caught. Boxes end up aligned without anybody nudging them a pixel at a time.
