The Mac app for Nemi. Your files sit in Finder like any other folder, any file converts with a drag, and a launcher finds everything from anywhere.

Start dragging any file on your Mac and hold Shift. A ring of the formats it can become opens under the pointer. Let go on one, and the converted file appears right where you dropped it, next to the original.

A small ring turns while Nemi converts. On the desktop the new file lands where you let go, in a folder it sits beside the original, which stays as it is.
What it does. Things Finder cannot, for the folder Finder already shows.
Your workspace is a folder
Nemi Link appears under Locations in the Finder sidebar. Files download when you open them, and what you change syncs back.
A launcher for your files
Press the shortcut from any app, type a few letters, and open, share, convert or reveal a file without opening a window.
Right-click anything
Convert, Share and Upload sit in the right-click menu of every file on your Mac, not only the ones already in Nemi.
Share in one step
Copy share link puts a link on the clipboard. Upload and share does the upload first, so a file on your desktop is a link a moment later.
Convert from the launcher too
Pick a file in Nemi, pick a format and choose where the result goes: the clipboard, your Downloads folder, or next to the original in Nemi.
It keeps itself current
Nemi Link checks for new versions and installs them when you say so. Every update is signed and checked before it replaces the app.
Installing it.
- Open the disk image and drag Nemi Link into Applications.
- Open Nemi Link and sign in. Your browser opens to confirm it is you.
- Nemi Link appears in the menu bar and under Locations in Finder.
- For the right-click menu, open Settings in Nemi Link and choose Turn On next to it. macOS only lets you switch that on yourself.
