Google, Outlook and any ICS feed
Connected calendars appear alongside your own, and an edit you make in Nemi to a Google or Outlook event is pushed back to the account it came from. An ICS feed is read only, the way its publisher shared it.
Your unsent change is never overwritten
Local edits are flagged and pushed before anything is pulled, and a pull refuses to write over a change that has not gone out yet. It is the one bug in a two-way sync that actually costs somebody something.

Events that overlap split the column between them, and each one widens back out the moment there is nothing beside it. A busy morning never narrows a quiet afternoon, and a single event with the hour to itself keeps the full width of the day.

The colour a Google calendar is already wearing, or the one named in an ICS feed, is matched to the nearest of fourteen Nemi swatches. A calendar you colour coded years ago looks like itself here rather than turning up as one more blue one.
