Nemi AI
Your Nemi AI settings
Tell Nemi AI about yourself, choose how it answers, where results go and when it asks first, set your own weekly limit, save prompts, and decide how long conversations are kept.
On this page
Open Settings and choose AI. Everything there saves as you change it, belongs to your account only, and applies wherever you use Nemi AI. Nobody in your workspaces can see it.
About you and how it should work#
Two boxes for what you would otherwise repeat in every conversation. About you is context, like your job or what you use Nemi for. How Nemi AI should work is instructions, like a naming style for files or something to always check. Both are sent with every message you send, so leave out anything you would not send to the company that runs the model; see Your conversations and what is sent.
What you can set#
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Length | Short, normal or detailed answers. |
| Tone | Casual, or formal and polite. |
| Language | Answer in the language you write in, or always in one language. |
| Units, paper and bleed | Millimetres or inches, A4 or US Letter, and the bleed print files get when you do not say otherwise. |
| Where results go | A converted file, an edited picture or a zip lands beside the original, in the folder you have open, or Nemi AI asks you when the original is in another workspace. Where I am only works where you can add files; otherwise the result goes beside the original. |
| Ask me first | Before every change, only before deleting, sharing or overwriting, or never. Restore under an answer puts most changes back, see Putting it back. |
| Web search | On, ask first, or off. |
| Code sandbox | Whether the assistant looks at a page it made before handing it to you, and whether the sandbox has internet. Only on plans with the code sandbox. |
| Stop Nemi AI at | Your own limit on the weekly allowance: 25, 50 or 75 percent, or all of it. |
| Tell me when an answer is ready | A notification in the bell when an answer finishes while you are in another conversation or app. |
| Delete conversations not used for | Keep them, or delete them once unused for a year, 90 days or 30 days. |
Internet in the code sandbox#
Off until you switch it on. Before it switches on, Nemi asks you to confirm, and while it is on the setting keeps saying what it means: anything loaded into the sandbox, your files included, can be sent to any website from there. Working on files with code has the details.
Saved prompts#
- 1
Add one
Under Saved prompts, choose Add prompt, give it a short name like Print ready, and write what you would ask.
- 2
Use it
In the message box, type / and the start of the name, then pick it with the arrow keys and Enter, or click it.
- 3
Check and send
The words appear in the box and nothing is sent yet, so you can change them first. You can keep up to 20.
Deleting conversations#
With a time chosen under Delete conversations not used for, a conversation is deleted within an hour of reaching that age, counted from the last message in it, and this cannot be undone. Delete all removes every conversation now. Either way, files Nemi AI saved to your workspaces stay where they are.
