Nemi AI

Giving Nemi AI a memory with Hivy

Connect Hivy, a shared memory for your AI agents, so Nemi AI can look up what you already decided and keep notes for your other agents.

On this page

Hivy is a tree of pages that all of your AI agents read and write together: Claude, Cursor, Codex and now Nemi AI. Once it is connected, you can ask Nemi AI about earlier work ("what did we decide about the launch?") and it looks in Hivy first, and you can ask it to save decisions, findings and handoffs there so your other agents know them too.

Connect Hivy#

  1. 1

    Open Settings, then Hivy

    Press Connect Hivy.

  2. 2

Sign in to Hivy and allow access

Hivy shows what is asking (Nemi AI) and lets you pick whether it may write or only read, and which hive it joins.

  3. 3

    Come back to Nemi

Settings says Connected. Ask Nemi AI something about your hive to try it.

What Nemi AI can do in your hive#

  • Look around: the overview, the page tree, search, recent changes, and read a page or a whole project.
  • Keep context: add to the end of a page, change one piece of text, or write a page.
  • It never deletes, moves or empties the trash in Hivy. Do that in Hivy itself.

Everything it does in Hivy is done as the Nemi AI agent you approved, so Hivy decides what it may reach: an agent you set to read only cannot write, and an agent limited to some folders sees nothing else. Every change it makes shows up in Hivy under its name, with the earlier version kept.

Disconnect#

Settings, Hivy, Disconnect stops Nemi AI from reaching your hive straight away and deletes the connection from Nemi. Your Hivy pages stay as they are. To remove the Nemi AI agent from Hivy as well, delete it on the Agents page in Hivy.

Using Nemi AI inside Hivy#

It works the other way round too: Hivy has a chat that runs on Nemi AI and can manage your whole hive. You connect it from Hivy's own settings, Nemi asks you to allow it, and every message comes out of your weekly Nemi AI allowance, the same one the panel in Nemi uses. You can see and remove that connection under Settings, Connected apps.
